Hi there! My name is Rayne. I am a pastel artist based in the beautiful Surrey, UK. My story started by picking up a pastel pencil for the first time in June 2020 after not doing any art since my school days. At the start of this year I closed by business due to losing my rescue dog wolfy. He was my reason for drawing and my life truly revolved around him. I have had some time and now am opening my commission books for Christmas 2024. Portraits will be available for a limited time.
As well as pet portraits I am offering keyrings and baubles as well as new sunday sketches which you can see on my commission tab or on my etsy store.
My heart goes into each portrait I create, providing you something to hold onto for a lifetime. I frequently get asked why I chose to create pet portraits. For me, it is being able to give someone the irreplaceable feeling I get when I look at my horse or dog,

Rayne, where to start.... from the beginning nothing was too much trouble and goodness me I sent you a million and one questions. Despite not having that perfect shot of Gerrard you managed to capture him perfectly. I can't ever thank you enough for producing our masterpiece of the boys, it's honestly like they're still here with us. I don’t feel that any picture will ever do it justice!!
I have had four portraits done by Rayne now over around two years, and every time they have been nothing but incredible. The most recent one was a present for my mum, of two of our dogs who had sadly passed away. Despite not having many photos to go off, she managed to create a beautiful piece of them both together for us to cherish forever. I would recommend Rayne in a heartbeat, a million times over.
